Happy Wednesday Friends! We are so excited for this upcoming Saturday!! We will be shooting our last wedding of 2020 and were gonna end it with a BANG! There are a lot of people that have been waiting for this day for a loooong time! And we are soooo excited it is finally time to celebrate Kasey + Tim!

IMAGINE THIS: You have a best friend. You two are inseparable. Best friend gets a boyfriend. you like him. You approve of him. He, too, has a best friend. Your best friend encourages his best friend to ask you out. You two go out. You like him. He likes you. after 2 dates he asks you to be his girlfriend. 4 days later he says he loves you. Next day, you say it back. Life is good. And they all lived happily ever after with a lifetime of double dates.

That is EXACTLY how Kasey + Tim’s love story began. She has her best friend, Emily to thank (you like that shoutout? 😉). Emily was dating Tim’s best friend, Stephen. Emily, I don’t think it can get any better than that! Honestly, I prayed so hard that my husband would get along with my best friend’s husband. It’s not just about double dates, it’s about being able to DO life together. To WANT to DO life together. For it to be effortless and enjoyable for everyone. What you guys have, the 4 of you, is AMAZING!!! I love the relationships you all have! You have shared so many life experiences together already, I’m excited to keep up with what all you get to do in the future. I can see you all living together when you’re retired, pleassssse make it happen!!!

I have known Kasey for quite some time, she was actually a maid of honor in Emily’s wedding (which we had the honor of photographing 2 years ago). With all of the covid madness, I knew this engagement session was a little light of hope in her planning process so I was extremely excited to plan it out and shoot it. I knew she was looking forward to it and I just wanted it to be perfect. We talked about it and she wanted to have her session to be outdoors so I immediately thought of Market31’s beautiful property in Callahan, Florida.

Kasey had told me she was going to bring a fews things and when she showed up, Jerico and I were beyond impressed at her picnic setup. She brought a few of her favorite things including: Krispy Kreme donuts, an old record player accompanied by a few of her favorite records, glass Coke bottles, a Polaroid camera and a Harry Potter book. It was the cutest picnic I’ve ever seen!

We actually had Tim read to Kasey during the session, with a donut and coke in hand, of course!

Kasey and Tim, I am so excited your wedding day is almost here. I know you have put A LOT of time, energy and tears planning your wedding and I just cannot wait to see it all come to life for you. You deserve to have your best day ever and i am lucky to be a witness to it!

I can’t wait to see you laugh, see you cry (cause we all know its gonna happen) and most importantly, see you dance your heart out. It’s going to be perfect and so worth everything you have been through! See you soon!
