Nicole + Kevin | Clay Theatre Engagement Session
Our spark began when we first met.
The way he looked at me made me feel like I was the only one in the room.
Insert heart eyes emoji here!!! I mean, WOW! Now that is beautiful. What a great reminder of the effect a single look, a smile, any gesture at all can have on another person. I mean, I’m not going to fall in love with those people like in this particular story but its a great reminder that a single smile can totally brighten someones day and make them FEEL loved + important.
And guess what?! You can totally create a movie scene from their proposal story. Let me set the scene for you. Nicole goes out of town for a bachelorette party. The plan was for Kevin to pick Nicole up from the airport (without their sons). However, as Nicole turns the corner, she sees all her boys there waiting for her. Her oldest is holding a dozen roses and her youngest is holding a perfume box. Nicole is in complete shock! she runs as fast as she can to give them all a big hug and as she’s giving them a hug, she watches Kevin drop down to one knee!!!!! Nicole loses it! ahhhhh! She of course says YES! with tears in her eyes and a giant smile on her face. And just when Nicole thought she was as happy as she could ever be, she looked up and realized her friends + family where there to celebrate with them!!
THE PERFECT PROPOSAL!!!!
The things I love most about Kevin is the way he takes care of our family and stepped up to be an amazing father figure to my son Isaac. The way he would help anyone in need! The way he laughs just melts my heart! I love that he takes me out of my comfort zone and has me try new things.
What I love most about Nicole is her big heart and I love seeing her with Isaac + Cole, she is a great mother. I love her singing and dance moves. Her laugh and smile, her bright blue eyes. How she takes care of us. Her sense of humor.
Kevin’s got that right, Nicole has such stunning eyes and her smile is infectious! see for yourself!
Nicole + Kevin have created a beautiful life together including their 2 sons, Isaac + Cole. When we were discussing their engagement session, Nicole knew she wanted to include her boys as well… and they are the CUTEST!! I just HAD to include a few with them. I cant wait to see them at the wedding, they are going to look so handsome!
Green Cove Springs is home for Nicole + Kevin so it was a no brainer when it came to where to do their engagement session… at their wedding venue, The Clay Theatre. It’s so gorgeous, why would we not? We had such a great time getting to know the family. We started in a little park, well, playground, across the street from The Clay Theatre. The boys did so good resisting the urge to play on the playground! I know that was difficult! And then we made our way over to the theatre and used it as a backdrop.
Nicole + Kevin, we are so excited for you two to become husband + wife. It’s going to be a day full of beautiful memories that you get to share with your boys for the rest of your lives. I think it’s so special that they are involved in your wedding day and trust me when I say, im packing a few extra packs of tissues, just in case, aka because I WILL get emotional!
