Heeey! We are so excited to celebrate Rachel + Matt this weekend. But before we do, you know I have a love for sharing lovestories!!! And you’re in luck because this one’s sweet!
I think its pretty cool how Rachel + Matt met. It was actually their mutual friends that brought them together. It's like having your own personal cheerleaders, rooting for love and adding an extra layer of magic to the story of how you met someone amazing.
As their story unfolded, a spark ignited between them. It's that special connection that makes you laugh together, want to have shared experiences and just get each other. Matt's charm perfectly complements Rachel's caring and adventurous spirit, creating a dynamic duo that's nothing short of awesome.
Fast forward to a “typical” Sunday morning, or so Rachel thought. They went to church, followed by lunch at Rachel's grandparents' house. Matt, undeterred by the impending rain, took Rachel outside. Surrounded by both families, he poured his heart out, reminiscing about their past and dreaming about their future. On one knee, he asked the big question, creating a magical moment witnessed by their loved ones.
Rachel and Matt find joy in the simple things – cooking together, devouring ice cream, and embracing the great outdoors. Their shared love for family and travel cements the bond that holds their relationship together.
We asked Rachel + Matt what they love about the other person. For Rachel, it's Matt's humor, selflessness, and unwavering support. On Matt's side, he's captivated by Rachel's caring nature, adventurous streak, and her love for country music and ice cream. Together, their commitment to family values forms the solid foundation of their enduring love.
When it was time to choose a location for their engagement session, Rachel and Matt's chose the gorgeous Washington Oaks State Garden. Washington Oaks State Garden is a hidden gem that mostly only photographers know about. Its usually the only other people there!! It’s MADE for photos. Every corner is beautiful.
As we strolled through the lush garden, the sun decided to be our spotlight, giving a warm glow. Peeking through the trees, it turned every shot into a dreamy masterpiece. Rachel and Matt, totally lost in each other, made our job easy! Talk about picture-perfect moments!
Next stop – the beach, where nature really showed off. This beach isnt like most beaches in Jacksonville. This beach is piled with coquina rocks stacked on top of each other. Rachel and Matt hit the shore, hand in hand, with the excitement of their future written all over their faces. Against the cool backdrop of the rocks and the endless beach, Rachel and Matt shared laughs as they walked along the shore.
Rachel and Matt's engagement session was filled with amazing moments. From the garden glow to the beachy bliss, we felt honored to be the ones capturing this beautiful stage of their lives.
