FROM FAITH TO FRIENDSHIP TO FOREVER

Happy Summer, friends! Im excited to share this love story with you! Oh and before I go any further, I can’t take credit for that heading, the bride came up with it and has it on their wedding website!!! It was too good not to use for their blog.

Below are some of my favorite photos from Carlene + Ramzy’s engagement session at Washington Oaks State Garden in Palm Coast, Florida.

Before I proceed, I just HAVE to share about Carlene’s beautiful dress. Carlene bought this dress BEFORE she started dating Ramzy. She saw this dress in a store and said “one day I will wear this dress at an engagement session with the man of my dreams” !!!!! WHAAAAT?!?! And shortly after she purchased this dress, she started dating Ramzy and finally got to wear it!! It’s absolutely the perfect dress! When she told me this, I got goosebumps!

We started their engagement session in the beautiful garden. Jerico & I walked around while Carlene + Ramzy twirled and salsa’d around =). We had such a great time. We then made our way to our private beach. jk it was public however, no one else was there so we got the entire beach to ourselves. We thought the perfect way to finish their engagement session would be for them to pray over each other. It was the sweetest moment!!!

Carlene + Ramzy met on a blind date through a mutual friend from their church. Their date started at Starbucks and then they attended a Thursday night service together at Eleven22. Now you know if you have your first date at church, that dating would look a little… let’s just say…. different.

Throughout the next few years, Carlene + Ramzy saw each other around church and served their church community. That alone allowed them lift each other up, and encourage each other through the Word. They focused on God but realized their love + admiration for each other was blossoming into something beyond friendship.

Then after 2 years of growing their friendship, the two decided to go on their first official date and within 4 weeks, they both knew this was it. This was the relationship God intended them to have, a forever love .

so sweet, right?!

We are sooo excited for you, Carlene + Ramzy. We cant wait to witness your sacred vows you recite to one another before everyone you love and most importantly, before God. I know it’s going to be absolutely beautiful but I’m more excited to see the life you two build together. I have a feeling that God has BIG plans for you two!
