The Window
The Lobby
When you come down the stairs from the window, you arrive into the Lobby, creating a seamless flow between the two spaces. The lobby is a fantastic spot for bride & groom portraits, family first looks and bridal party photos, offering a few different beautiful and elegant backdrops: the elevators + the arched stairway.
Front Steps
The grand front steps of the Treasury on the Plaza make the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding portraits. With its elegant architecture and classic charm, it’s an ideal spot for romantic bride + groom photos as well as striking bridal party portraits
The Courtyard
Please note that this location requires a permit. A 1-hour permit must be purchased through the city in advance of the wedding.
The courtyard at the Lightner Museum is a breathtaking location that offers endless opportunities for stunning photos. With its charming central bridge, lush greenery, and elegant surrounding architecture, every corner provides a picture-perfect backdrop. The bridge is a popular choice for first looks and wedding party photos, while the open spaces throughout the courtyard are ideal for romantic couple portraits and family photos.
The loggias
The loggias, included as part of the courtyard permit, provide a stunning covered area perfect for capturing timeless and elegant images. These beautifully designed spaces are ideal for couple portraits, offering a romantic and classic backdrop. They can also be used for groom + groomsmen or bride + bridesmaid photos.
Bougainvillea
The final area included in the courtyard permit is the bougainvillea, located right next to the loggias. This vibrant and colorful backdrop is perfect for portraits, adding a cheerful, eye-catching element to bridesmaid photos. It’s also an ideal spot for couple portraits and bridal portraits
Russian Bath House
The Russian Bath House is available for couple portraits only, offering a truly unique and striking backdrop for your photos. Its distinctive architecture and atmosphere make it the perfect location for a first look and intimate portraits
The alcove
The alcove is a tucked-away corner leading to the terrace, offering a quiet and intimate space perfect for a first look and couple portraits.
The natural window light creates dramatic lighting, adding a touch of elegance to your images. On the opposite side, charming string lights provide a warm and romantic backdrop
It’s also an excellent indoor option for rainy or hot days, providing a comfortable setting for smaller wedding party and family photos.
Overlooking the 1st Floor
The Lightner Museum offers a few spots that overlook the first floor, providing a stunning vantage point for photos. The string lights in these areas add a romantic touch, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Bridge of Lions
The Bridge of Lions is a 8-minute walk or a quick golf cart ride away and offers a breathtaking setting for sunset portraits. It's the perfect spot to capture stunning, golden-hour moments
