EMOTIONAL WEDDING AT BOWING OAKS PLANTATION WEDDING, JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA | EMILY + JOSH

Hey friends, today’s amazing couple is Emily + Josh. They are such a sweet couple that truly trusted their vendors. Emily and Josh hired us to do both photography and videography and hired Market31 Events to do floral, styling and coordinating. It was such an honor to be trusted so well and it was fun to work side by side with my 2 best friends, Jerico + Gabrielle.

Emily + Josh got married at the beautiful Bowing Oaks Plantation in Jacksonville, Florida. Let’s take a second to talk about the pronunciation of this venue. Before we shot here, I thought it was pronounced 🎀-ing Oaks BUT quickly found out i was WRONG! Its pronounced 🙇🏼‍♀️-ing Oaks ( like take a bow).

This venue, along with Market31’s touches truly brought out the look and feel that Emily wanted. When I asked her what words she wants to describe her wedding she said “elegant, relaxed, traditional but modern” Market31 Events nailed the look!

If I had to sum up their wedding day in one word it would be “emotional”. My favorite moment from their wedding was definitely their first look. You’ve got to scroll down to the video to watch it, the photos don’t give you all the feels like the video does. OMGGG, prepare yourself!! You’ve been warned. I don’t think anyone expected that kind of reaction!

And here’s what Jerico had to say when I asked him his favorite part of their wedding day “You know the couple has their priorities straight when you walk in and see SIX cakes!” These cakes were all so delicious and the flavors were all soo different, Daughters Bakery, you did a phenomenal job!

Emily + Josh, thank you so much for treating us like family and letting us be a part of your wedding day. I’m pretty sure I cried a good 3 or 4 times. First look with dad, first look with josh, the ceremony, first dance, dads speech.. okay that’s 5 times 🙈. I couldn’t help myself. I just get the love you two have for each other. Your day was truly about you two and I think that’s why it was so special and full of emotions! We wish you LOTS of fun adventures together and a few more pups!!! 😉
