Mariana + Dennis | Wedding at Valley View at SFRR | Alachua, Florida

HEEEEEY! Hope everyone is enjoying their day. I will admit, i am a bit behind on blogging weddings but I couldn’t NOT share this beautiful wedding.

Today I’d like to introduce you to Mariana & Dennis. Funny story, I remember Dennis as a little boy (he was around 5 years old) at church. When we sat down to meet for the first time, I kept thinking “ I feel like I know this guy” he of course, doesn’t remember me, since I’m soooo much older. haha i’m not THAT much older but when you’re 5 years old, you don’t remember anyone! Fast forward real quick to their wedding day: his parents definitely recognized me… I WAS RIGHT!

Anyways, back to our awesome couple. Mariana found a brand new venue (this was the venues 3rd wedding). This venue stood out to Mariana because it offered a look completely different than the venues in Jacksonville offered. Valley View at SFRR offered a beautiful view of a “valley”, an island ceremony location and a modern + classic white reception space… yes you heard that right, their ceremony was located ON AN ISLAND.

And once again, Market31 left us in awe. They created a floating arbor at the ceremony location full of luscious greens + blooms. And let me tell you, the peonies they had, were as big, if not bigger, than my hand!! They were absolutely stunning! Market31 then repurposed this arbor into the reception space behind the sweetheart table.

I loved that Mariana + Dennis made sure Jesus was the focus in their ceremony. One way they displayed their undivided love for one another was through a feet washing ceremony. This ceremony truly showed their humbleness and level of respect for one another. It was a very powerful and beautiful moment accompanied by a worship song. It was such a great reminder to love and serve each other as Jesus has greatly loved and served us.

Mariana and Dennis, it was so evident that God was present and is at the core of your relationship. We pray for lots of blessings, love and fun adventures in your marriage. May your love for Jesus and for eachother grow with each day. Thank you again for letting us be a part of your perfect wedding day.
