It all started in the most unexpected place—but the moment Cameron and Des met, something just clicked. A few playful glances (and maybe a tennis ball or two) later, they were falling into a love story that’s equal parts romantic, joyful, and meant to be.
Cameron and Des first crossed paths while teaching tennis—rackets in hand, sunshine on their shoulders, and a shared rhythm that felt like fate. What began as friendly rallies turned into flirtatious glances, deep conversations, and eventually, a love that neither of them saw coming—but both of them were ready for.
Through the years, their relationship has become the kind that makes people believe in soulmates. It’s not just the way they look at each other—it’s the sacrifices they’ve made, the distance they’ve endured, and the unwavering support they’ve shown through every high and low. While Cameron pursued her dream of becoming a doctor (and just finished med school—go, Cam!), they spent long stretches apart, living in different places but always choosing one another. Their love didn’t just survive that season; it thrived in it.
Together, they’ve built a beautiful little family—including their impossibly handsome German Shepherd, Bentley, who is equal parts guardian and gentle giant. He was, of course, the perfect third wheel during their engagement session that started in downtown Jacksonville. With the city streets as their backdrop, Cam + Des strolled hand in hand—soft laughter between them, Bentley leading the way. They looked like a scene from a movie: effortless, magnetic, completely wrapped up in each other.
From there, we made our way to a rooftop garage, where their connection lit up the skyline. They danced. Twirled. Stole kisses. In that golden rooftop glow, you could see the spark that started it all—still very much alive, still playful, still deeply romantic.
But it was at Jax Beach where they truly came alive. With the ocean as their witness and the sky painted in cotton candy pastels, Cam + Des ran barefoot in the sand, holding nothing back. Des scooped Cameron up again and again—spinning her, lifting her, pulling her close like he never wanted to let go. Their laughter echoed across the waves. It felt free, wild, and completely them.
And now… their wedding weekend is finally here.
This weekend, at the gorgeous Epping Forest Yacht Club, these two beautiful souls will say I do—surrounded by family, friends, and the love they've so intentionally built. It’s going to be romantic, joyful, and absolutely unforgettable.
