LIGHTNER MUSEUM || ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA ENGAGEMENT SESSION

We love a couple who knows how to have fun—and Maddie and Reid are exactly that. Maddie + Reid’s engagement session was everything—fun, romantic, and perfectly them. Between pizza bites and sweet cuddles, they made our job way too easy. 💛

These two met at the University of Florida—Maddie was an in-game host, and Reid was a student manager for the baseball team. When Maddie wanted to learn more about the sport for her career in sports broadcasting, she turned to Reid, and the rest is history. From the very beginning, they had something special—laughs came easily, and Maddie quickly realized she felt safe in Reid’s presence.

We were so excited to photograph their engagement session in the city where they’ll say “I do” —St. Augustine! Maddie had one special request: to include her favorite food of all time—pizza. So naturally, they brought a box to the Lightner Museum, their wedding venue, and shared a slice (or two) right outside their venue. It was playful, fun, and so them.

From there, we wandered through the charming streets and alleys of St. Augustine, capturing every giggle, every look, every moment. The lighting was golden, the streets were quiet, and these two just melted into each other. Maddie fits perfectly in Reid’s arms (and the way he looks at her? COME ON 😭). Their chemistry is effortless.

They started the session in the perfect casual look—matching white sneakers, blue jeans, and solid tees. Then for a little dressier vibe, Maddie changed into a dreamy light blue and white floral mini dress, while Reid looked sharp in a pale pink button-down and dark jeans. The colors popped against the color blocked walls and historic textures of the city, making every photo feel straight out of a rom-com.

Their height difference just adds to the charm—Maddie tucks right into Reid’s side like they were made for each other. The way he wraps his arm around her? It’s giving safety, sweetness, and best-friend energy all in one. They bring out the best in each other, and watching them interact feels like witnessing something truly rare.

We are beyond excited to be a part of their wedding day and to witness them become husband and wife in a city as timeless and beautiful as their love story. Maddie and Reid, we can’t wait to celebrate with you! see you soon!
