This weekend, Ellie and Peter are GETTING MARRIED — and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them! These two share such an effortless kind of love — the kind that feels like sunshine on calm water, full of laughter, light, and the kind of joy that only comes when you’ve truly found your person.

Ellie and Peter first met through mutual friends, and it didn’t take long for them to discover their shared love of being out on the water. Whether it’s fishing, cruising, or simply catching a sunset from the boat, life always feels right when they’re side by side.

From the start, Ellie and Peter’s story has been effortlessly beautiful — rooted in simplicity, laughter, and a love for adventure. Their first date was a sunset boat ride, spent fishing, snacking, and talking as the sky turned to gold — the kind of evening that just felt right. Over time, Ellie fell for Peter’s steady, loyal heart and his deep love for family, while Peter was drawn to her calm spirit and ability to make life feel easy. They call each other their “bestest friend,” and together they bring out the best in one another. So when Peter proposed on a boat with their dog Copper by his side, under the glow of the setting sun and with a photographer secretly capturing it all, it was the perfect reflection of who they are — simple, genuine, and full of love.

When you ask them what they love most about each other, their answers melt your heart.

“I love that allows me to be myself, and has never tried to change me. He brings out the best in me. I love that I just know he will be the very best dad in the whole wide world one day... He is also such a good friend to others, and treats others the way Jesus did/does.”

“I love her ability to always see the positives in every situation. We’re also very different, but perfectly balanced.”

And let’s be honest — they’re also just adorable together. We saw it firsthand during their engagement session at Washington Oaks State Gardens in Palm Coast, Florida. We started in the lush gardens, where Ellie and Peter were in awe of how vibrant and peaceful everything was. They laughed, smiled, and made the session feel so easy. The way they make each other light up — it’s absolutely precious.

As we walked through the gardens, Ellie looked radiant in her white dress, and Peter couldn’t stop smiling at her. They laughed, held hands, and made every moment feel effortless — it was so natural to capture them just being themselves.

Of course, we had to include the water somehow! So we made our way across the street to the beach — and it couldn’t have been more perfect. You could instantly tell they felt relaxed as soon as their toes hit the sand. The ocean breeze, the soft sound of the waves, and the wide open sky created such a peaceful scene. They kissed, hugged, and walked hand in hand along the shoreline, completely lost in each other. Peter twirled Ellie as her dress caught the wind, and it felt like time slowed down for just a moment. It was romantic, calm, and so them — ending the session exactly where their hearts feel most at home: by the water.
