ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN HISTORIC ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA DURING NIGHTS OF LIGHTS
This weekend, Hannah and Drew are getting married at the breathtaking Lightner Museum — and we honestly cannot wait to celebrate them! Getting to know these two has been such a joy!
Their love story began long before this weekend, though. Hannah and Drew first crossed paths back in high school. They knew each other — not closely, but enough to recognize familiar faces in the halls. Life, however, had different plans back then, and after high school, they went their separate ways. It wasn’t until college that the universe gently nudged them back into each other’s lives. They reconnected at first just as friends — casually catching up, trading stories about old high school memories, and filling in the blanks of everything that had happened since.
Then came that night — the night that changed everything. In a room full of people, somehow it ended up being just the two of them talking. It wasn’t small talk. It wasn’t just laughs. It was hours and hours of real conversation — sharing their biggest joys, the hardest parts of their journeys, their beliefs, their dreams, and the kinds of thoughts you only share with someone you really trust.It was the kind of night you don't want to end.
By the time the sun was threatening to rise, they both knew something had shifted. The friendship had grown into something deeper, something much more rare and beautiful. That night, the spark between them became undeniable.
Then, when it came time for Drew to propose, he made it just as meaningful as their journey together. He popped the question at Southern Hill Farms, a place where they’ve made so many beautiful memories over the years. Surrounded by both their families (and a lot of happy tears!), Drew asked Hannah to be his forever — and of course, she said yes.
We photographed Hannah and Drew’s engagement session in historic St. Augustine during the famous Nights of Lights. Truly, it could not have been more magical. We kicked off the session at their wedding venue — the iconic Lightner Museum — which already felt so special knowing it would soon host one of the biggest days of their lives.
From there, we wandered through St. Augustine's charming cobblestone alleys, where history and romance meet at every turn. As the sun began to set, we caught the most stunning golden light — and just as we made it to the waterfront, the twinkling holiday lights began to turn on, like something out of a movie. We wrapped up in the Plaza de la Constitución, where thousands of sparkling lights wrapped the towering oak trees, and we even waited until it was fully dark to capture the true magic of it all.
Hannah and Drew’s connection is something truly special — full of laughter, cuddles, and sweet little moments that made it so easy to capture their love. Hannah fits perfectly in Drew’s arms, and watching them together, you could feel how much comfort and joy they bring to each other. They are so cuddly and cute together, it’s impossible not to smile when you're around them.
And can we talk about Hannah’s dress for a second?! She wore the most stunning short white dress, covered in shimmering sequins that caught the light with every step. It had a romantic sweetheart neckline, delicate spaghetti straps, and a playful tulle bow detail in the back — the perfect blend of classic and fun. She paired it with adorable heels tied with satin bows, and throughout the session, she was literally getting compliments from strangers — and for good reason! She looked like pure magic.

And now, just days away from their wedding at the Lightner Museum, it feels like all the pieces of their story — high school hallways, late-night conversations, countless memories — have come together perfectly.
