Taylor + Zack | Magnolia Ave, St. Augustine Engagement Session |

Hi friends I have another sweet lovestory to share with you. I know people say it’s cliche to meet online but why?! I don’t think it’s cliche at all. In fact, the internet has revolutionized the way people connect and build relationships. Online platforms provide a diverse and accessible space for people from all walks of life to meet, share interests, and develop meaningful connections.

As you might have guessed, Taylor + Zack met online and as fate would have it, it was their first and only date off the app. You could say it was simply "meant to be."

Now, let's fast forward to a pivotal moment we all love to hear about—the proposal. Zack had planned a special night out to celebrate Taylor’s birthday. He suggested trying out a place that had piqued their interest for some time. Little did she know that this evening would be a turning point in their love story.

As they strolled past a rose garden, Taylor noticed a bride and groom preparing for their first look, and Taylor was scared she would accidentally photobomb their special moment. To her surprise, another photographer was nearby, but she had no inkling that the camera was there for her, she thought it was for the nearby bride & groom.

Zack took her hand and, with an affectionate smile, began with heartwarming words. Taylor’s heart raced as Zack reached into his back pocket, and she was left stunned as he knelt down, revealing a stunning ring. Of course, she said yes!!!

But Zack’s plan wasnt quite finished yet, he had one final surprise in store. Zack knew that sharing this moment with loved ones was important, their parents were waiting at a restaurant to celebrate with them. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

“I love Zack's honesty and his devotion and loyalty, not only to me, his family, but also the people he works alongside. He is the most loyal and hard-working person that I know. I also love that he pushes me to become the best version of myself every day. I'm grateful that I get to go through life with him by my side.”

“I love how passionate she is about perfecting her craft and learning to be the best provider possible.”

When I talked with Taylor + Zack about their engagement session, Taylor really wanted to incorporate beautiful architecture in her session and one place immediately came to mind, St. Augustine but more precisely, Memorial Presbyterian Church.

We started their engagement session on the charming Magnolia Avenue, a tree-lined street that exudes an old-world charm. There’s no other street like it. Theres a reason it’s named one of the prettiest streets in America. With majestic oak trees framing the street and sunlight filtering through the cascading branches, you won't find a more magical spot than this.

When Taylor said she wanted architecture, i couldn't resist the captivating beauty of the Memorial Presbyterian Church. This architectural masterpiece, designed by the renowned architect Henry John Klutho, is a testament to love and faith. Its intricate details, Gothic Revival style, and stunning stained glass windows provided a perfect setting for their engagement photos. It’s stunning, go ahead and see for yourselves (the photos are below).

As the sun began to set, we made our way to the bay near the iconic Bridge of Lions. The warm, golden hour light cast a romantic glow , creating a dreamy atmosphere. We had such a great time getting to know Taylor + Zack as we adventured around St. Augustine.

Taylor + Zack’s lovestory is anything but ordinary. It's a story of fate, love, and the "small" moments that continue to light up their lives.

Thank you Taylor + Zack for entrusting us with something so important to you, your wedding memories. It’s an honor to have met you and we cannot wait to witness you two make the most important declaration you’ll ever make!

See you soon!

xoxo,

Kristina + Zack
