Mini Golf + St. Augustine Beach Engagement Session
Some love stories feel like they were written long before two people ever meet — soft, destined, woven together in ways you can’t quite explain. That’s Jeanette and Dean. From the very beginning, their connection carried this quiet, undeniable warmth… the kind that feels like coming home to someone you didn’t know you were missing.

They first met on Hinge (after a few rescheduled dates thanks to some nerves), and by the time that first date finally happened, it turned into the sweetest marathon of “I don’t want this to end.” Mini golf, dinner, a movie — three dates wrapped into one long evening that neither of them wanted to walk away from.
Over time, their love grew in the spaces between big moments and the quieter ones — Tuesday night TV, the way they care for each other, how they balance one another so effortlessly, and slow dances in the living room after dinner. And it was during one of those dances, with the lights dimmed, candles lit, and rose petals on the floor, that Dean got down on one knee as La Vie En Rose played softly in the background. A proposal as sweet and intentional as their love.

When it came time for their engagement photos, we had to start where it all began — mini golf. Watching them step back into that first-date feeling was the cutest thing. They actually played a few holes (with the same competitiveness and laughter you’d expect from two best friends in love). Even though it was chilly, these two were so wrapped up in each other you’d never know.
After mini golf, we headed to the beach. The wind was sweeping across the sand, birds were flying overhead, and Jeanette + Dean ran through them like something straight out of a movie scene. It was perfect.
We turned on a little Dean Martin music — because how could we not? — and they just held each other. Hugging, swaying, laughing, even tearing up a bit as they thought about their future. You can feel how excited they are to build a life together. It’s softness and joy and warmth all wrapped up in two people who are truly each other’s home.
We cannot wait to see these two say “I do” this weekend at The Treasury on the Plaza. It’s going to be a day full of intentional moments, so much love, happy tears, and all of their favorite people under one roof. A day they’ll never forget — and one we cannot wait to capture.
